Welcome!
I’m Father Peter Afoukeze Kebei-Ghongson.
I am a Piarist Priest, the provincial administrator of the Piarist Fathers in the Province of Central Africa, including Cameroon, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. My journey has focused on serving others and promoting love, peace, and compassion. I currently direct the Piarist Development and Peace Office ITAKA Escolapios for Central Africa.
From a young age, I felt called to spirituality and community service, leading me to the Clerical Order of the Pious School. I completed theological training and hold a Master’s in Development Planning. Ordained as a priest on August 12, 2020, I work to bring hope through sermons, counseling, and social activism.
My commitment to social justice drives my advocacy for marginalized communities. I’ve initiated projects in education, healthcare, and clean water access, establishing schools and scholarships for underprivileged children.
I also promote interfaith dialogue, fostering understanding among diverse beliefs, which has earned recognition from various religious leaders. I am a certified peace advocate with Swiss Peace and Global Peace Chain UK.
